When an orphaned young pickpocket named Nine steals a house-shaped ornament from a woman's purse, the ornament grows into a full-sized building with eccentric people living inside. Due to a curse, they haven't been able to leave the house for years. With the promise of a life-changing reward, Nine agrees to help them put a stop to the curse.
